This summer I went to Atlantic City for vacation. I’ve been going there every summer since I was little.

The past two years I was allowed to bring a friend but I didn’t this year because it was a hard choice.

I stay at the hotel called Resorts every time I go. It’s really nice. They have nice rooms and a pool in the hotel, too. It also has a gym, spa area, and on the main lobby it has a bunch of little stores, some restaurants and a casino The hotel is also right on the boardwalk.

The Board Walk

There are a bunch of places to eat and shop on the boardwalk. My two favorite places to eat are the Rainforest Café and a pizza shop where they have the hugest pizza slices I’ve ever seen.

The beach is right across from the hotel. It’s fun, but I like the pool more because you don’t get all sandy.

I really like going to Ripley’s Believe It or Not! and Steel Pier amusement park. At the Pier you can pay for a tour around the boardwalk in a helicopter. And if you go further out from the boardwalk there are the outlets where I got some of my back to school supplies.

Workers Strike

Steel Pier is right across from the Trump Taj Mahal. This summer, people were on strike at the Taj Mahal while trying to get a new contract. It was really cool to see.

I had a great couple of days in Atlantic City, and I’m looking forward to going back again.
