During the fall, I like to bake a lot. One of my favorite recipes to make when Halloween starts to chime in is sparkly popcorn. It’s really yummy and fun to make for all types of Halloween parties.

What You Will Need:

  • 1 snack-size bag microwave popcorn
  • 2 cups Trix cereal
  • 1 tablespoon of edible glitter (This can be found at most department stores. If you can’t find it, substitute it with crushed up bits of the cereal.)

Make Sparkly Popcorn

Step one, microwave the bag of popcorn as directed on the bag. You should wind up with about 6 cups of popped popcorn. Toss the popcorn into a bowl.

Step two, measure out the cereal and then toss into the bowl. Gently mix the popcorn and cereal together with a wooden spoon.

Step three, measure out the edible glitter and then sprinkle it over the top of the popcorn mixture.

This is one of my favorite fall treats because it is quick, easy and, of course, fun. Hope you enjoy it, too!
